"Dancing, or the great art of beeing alive"

Dancing is not just the matter of the body as a mecanistic, but the moment where the  mind can forget everything around, to devote its intentions to the magic of the 
movement as a pure action.

Let's make the motion happen through breathing and feeling, to get back in the very 

present of ourself...

Inspired from severals holistic practices as Bûto, Yoga, Indian and Soufi Dances, Martial  Arts, this workshop will be a space of freedom to explore our humanity, involving between expressioninst, ceremonial and sacred dances.

Travelling between technical and choreographic materials and improvisation, we will focus on the way

to refind our natural way of moving, expressing, and sharing. 

Biography

Justine Goussot, born in France, studdies piano for 15 years before diving into Dance.

After studing contemporary dance at the National Academy of Bordeaux, completes her choreographic

trainning with Nina Dipla ( Pina Baush ), and keep exploding the movement through now Martial art and Axis Syllabus method.

She collaborates with various companies and directors in France, Cie Entresols ( Florence Payrmond ) Cie Lullaby (Alain Gonotey),

Cie Ariadone ( Carlotta Ikeda ), and severals National Theater ( Bordeux, Saint Etienne, Lausanne ).

Out of that she's travelling in India and around, where she specialised in Kathak  with  the great Pandit Ravi Shanlar Misra, in Benares, and where she starts researching about traditional and sacred dances.

She then creates in 2011 her own company, La Lali Cie, and get into a reflexion about  her double indentity of contemporary and kathak dancer.

The point for her is, far above the excuse of this fusion, to question the temporality/ musicality of the movement,

and the righteness of the action about intensity and emotional/psychic implication.
